Janet has been practicing yoga for over 15 years and has recently completed her Yoga Teacher Training (YTT200). She began practicing yoga to counteract the stiffness of running and the stress of work. It soon became more about the many benefits yoga brought to her sense of overall well-being.
In her classes Janet focuses on incorporating mindfulness and bringing awareness to the breath and how you are feeling in your mind and body. She loves seeing the transition in her students from how they enter class, to how the feel at the end.
Janet has lived in Uxbridge for over 25 years. Together her and her husband have raised 3 boys, they are now empty-nesters except for their two fur-babies (one dog and one cat). They divide their time between Uxbridge & Huntsville and enjoy travelling to sunny beach destinations. Janet also enjoys weight training, quilting and is also a self-employed bookkeeper.
