SARAH TERRION
CO-OWNER – FITNESS & PROGRAM DIRECTOR, CERTIFIED INSTRUCTOR, & CERTIFIED PERSONAL TRAINER
Sarah’s passion for group exercise began when she first took a class in high school. Always feeling awkward and a self-described non-athlete, “aerobics” (as it was called at the time!) helped her to gain confidence while practicing something that she truly loved. She went on to graduate from the Fitness Leadership Program at Seneca College and since then Sarah has added many specialty certifications to her repertoire – from Yoga and Spinning to Personal Training and Nutrition. With her latest trainings in Zumba and Piloxing, Sarah always strives to stay current so she can impart her signature natural and sincere empowering energy to her participants and clients.
Her background in the health industry includes corporate fitness management as well as club management for the largest fitness club chain in Canada. Sarah is very proud of the company she and her husband Terry created, owned and operated for 13 years, NRG 2 GO. This successful vacation placement agency provided working vacations for over 1 500 fitness and yoga instructors to contracts they acquired in the Caribbean, Mexico and Asia. Prior to NRG 2 GO, they owned a Dempster’s Bread franchise. The experience of working together is a good fit as they both bring different yet equally important assets to both the operational and practical elements of business.
Sarah’s vision to “strengthen Uxbridge one person at a time” came in 2006, when she and Terry started NRG 4 Life Bootcamp.
Drawing from the memories of high school gym class where she was the last to be picked for a team, Sarah is now living her dream – being able to provide a truly positive environment to help people of all ages and levels achieve their fitness goals. This has evolved from classes at Elgin Park to renting various facilities in Uxbridge to designing a well-equipped home training and group fitness studio. Now, NRG 4 Life reaches more people with a convenient downtown location. Being able to provide a welcoming, non-intimidating atmosphere attracts a wonderful community of clientele and staff.
