CERTIFIED INSTRUCTOR & PERSONAL TRAINER
As a child Veronika was not involved in fitness, always using Scoliosis as an excuse to be “careful” in the physical activities she did. Finally, at the age of 20, she became tired of feeling physically inadequate, and joined a gym. Veronika realized that she loved the feeling of being surrounded by positive and motivated people and found that rather than doing harm, exercise helped her manage her scoliosis, with the additional side benefit of being more posturaly aware. Veronika has been “hooked” ever since, finding exercise helped her manage the changes in her body during pregnancy and recover well from a very high risk labour. Not only did exercise help her get back to her pre-baby strength, it also became her outlet when it came to dealing with post-partum depression and anxiety.
Driven by the desire to help others feel healthy, confident, and happy, in early 2015 Veronika obtained her Group Fitness Instructor as well as Pre and Post-Natal Instructor certifications. In early 2016, she then added her Personal Training Certification.
She absolutely loves working with the people that come to her classes, inspired by her participants for making their health a priority no matter what challenges they face in life. Veronika believes exercise and healthy living makes us all better at everything that we do.
Veronika also loves setting a good example for her son Maks, who often tries to copy her as she exercises. Veronika enjoys participating in charity races and events helping to raise awareness of the benefits of active living.
